However, some people believe that the minimum age to issue a driver`s licence should be raised to 25 because they consider driving to be serious business. Most young people get carried away by the passion to drive at high speeds and lead to serious road accidents. In a country like India, where the roads are so shabby and can easily lead to vehicle collisions, speed is a common factor in serious deaths. Therefore, driving should be allowed at the age of 25 to ensure the safety of citizens.

It would therefore not be logical to prohibit people under the age of twenty-five from driving. In addition, other family members may rely on their younger family members to transport them to different destinations, and if this is not available, it will also have a detrimental effect on these other family members.

In many countries, 18 is the legal age to start driving, but people with 18-year-old children don`t say it the right age because 18-year-olds don`t have enough life experience to get behind the wheel. Most 18-year-olds still live with their parents or a family member. Another important reason to let 18-year-olds drive is that it is no safer for drivers and passengers to have a 25-year-old behind the wheel than an 18-year-old with more driving experience.
